I started this quilt in 2021. Shortly into the project, I realized that I didn’t have enough of the blue background fabric so I ordered an additional yard. I know better to do this because color can vary slightly batch to batch and sure enough it did! Out of frustration, I moved on and started something else.

In October 2023, I revisited this quilt and decided to finish it. This pattern is by Missouri Star Quilt Company using Wacky Web Triangle Papers as a template. The 4 sections are sewn together to make a 12” square block.

Meet Violet!

She is an occasional studio helper but only shows up for treats!

I quilted this on my longarm machine using a computerized edge to edge pantograph pattern called Russian Flames from Urban Elementz.
