I don’t have a lot of construction pictures for this quilt but I have this one. Violet immediately claimed this quilt. To this day, she still sleeps on it.

I cut out the pieces with a half hexagon template. The pieces are sewn in rows and then the rows are sewn together.

The fabric is called Zola by June Bee. The background is Bella Solids Snow by Moda Fabrics.

It was early quilt days and this was the border I chose for this quilt. I’m still not happy with it and there are days I want to chop it off.

I sent this quilt to Missouri Star Quilt Company for longarm quilting. It was around this time that I was encouraged by my husband to buy a longarm machine and finish my quilts myself. The quilting pattern is Daisy Days.
